Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): The Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) organised a one day seminar for Kükami’s under western Sümi region on March 30 at WSBAK Centre, Aküvüto with Akheto Sema IPS, Additional DGP Nagaland as the resource person.
He spoke on the topic ‘Western Sümi Chief: Today and Tomorrow’ and brought about the demographic changes happening in the western Sümi region and how land is being sold rampantly. Others who spoke were Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, Executive Secretary WSBAK and Rev. Aheto Sema, Secretary, Department of Youth Ministry. Dr. Achumi spoke on ‘Chief and Church’ while Rev. Sema talked about ‘The Responsibility of Chief in Clean Election’.
About 200 Kükami participated in the seminar, a press release informed. The WSBAK staff also conducted a special prayer for Kükami’s and blessed them.
