Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): The Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) organized a meeting for the Western Sümi Kükami (GB) hosted by Lalpahar Sümi Baptist Church on March 15.
There are 6 Sümi villages in Upper Assam and Lalpahar is one of them. About 70 Kükamis attended the meeting under the theme ‘Righteous King,’ which was deliberated by Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, Executive Secretary WSBAK.
The delegates also visited Tinkupathar Sümi village, Longtong Sümi village, and Khelhoshe Memorial English School. Others who spoke during the meet were Shikuto Zalipu, General Secretary NGBF, Vihuto Yeptho, President WSKH, and Hokheto Awomi, President Upper Assam GB Union.
Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, Executive Secretary, WSBAK in a press release said that at the end of the programme the Executive Secretary and staff of WSBAK blessed the Kükamis and prayed for divine guidance as they govern the people in their respective villages.
