WSH imposes indefinite non-cooperation to NSCN-K (Khango)

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 5 (MExN): The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) held an emergency meeting with all its frontal organizations on January 5 and resolved to impose indefinite non-cooperation to NSCN-K (Khango) within the jurisdiction of Western Sumi area which comprises of Dimapur, Niuland and Chumoukedima district with effect from January 6 onwards.

A press release from the WSH informed that this decision was taken following the “sudden imbroglio development” within the NSCN-K (Khango) and after what transpired as the WSH President along with colleagues, WSYF, GS NGBF, and GBs of Thilixu village rushed to the Ceasefire monitoring office at Thilixu village on January 4 “with the intention to defuse and pacify the volatile situation.”

The WSH alleged that “the commander and his cadres loaded their guns, pointed the weapons at the President WSH and his team, threatening with dire consequences, using abusive words without ascertaining the intention of the Hoho which cannot be tolerated at any cost, neither the sanctity of WSH, its frontal organizations and the GBs can be compromised.”

It meanwhile directed all bonafide Sumi members residing under the WSH fold to strictly follow-up the action till further notice from the WSH. “If any Sumi leaders or public are threatened, harassed by the NSCN-K (Khango) because of this resolution, further course of action would be initiated as deemed fit,” it stated.
