Dimapur, August 30 (MExN): The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) on Sunday wrote to the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, and requested to furnish the name and other details of any “Sumi criminal to the WSH as and when arrested.” “WSH has resolved to deal with any Sumi criminal, be it from any faction of NPG or any individual as per the community’s customary laws and practices, stated the letter appended by WSH President Dr Kakheto Zhimomi. “Besides the law of the land, we are compelled to clean the menace of criminal activities which has been plaguing our society and our land in accordance to our customary laws and practices which are safeguarded by the Indian Constitution,” it said. The Hoho requested for details of any Sumi individual involved in criminal activities which leads to their arrest.
