WSYF assures smooth execution of road works

Dimapur, April 6 (MExN): The Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) on Wednesday held a meeting with proprietor of M/s. Vipe Enterprise, who was awarded the contract for improvement of road (black-topping) from Central Jail to Atu Ghoki (Zubza River). 

During the meeting in Dimapur on April 6, the WSYF and the proprietor held discussion at length relating to the contract work. According to the press note issued by the WSYF Media Cell, “the proprietor agreed in principal to strictly adhere to all laid down specifications in DPR, to use quality materials for the said work and to start executing work at the earliest.” 

Meanwhile, the youth front has urged all villages where stretch of this road falls in their jurisdiction to cooperate with contractor and ensure that works are taken up hassle free.

“The road in question is the lifeline for the people of Niuland district but perhaps, the most depleted in its unattended condition for a very long time and consequently this development is a long cherished dream of all individuals of Niuland district and as such, the WSYF assure its full cooperation for smooth execution of the road works and would continue to monitor the construction till completion,” WSYF stated. 

It also assured that WSYF will “deploy its volunteers at construction sites if situation arise.”

It may be known that the WSYF interdict all forms of taxation/donation from individuals, organizations, associations, Naga Political groups etc. against the said road improvement. If found so, the WSYF will take prompt and necessary action that deem fit.
