DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 3 (MExN): The Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) has issued a condemnation regarding the tragic murder of late Noghuvi K. Sumi, a final-year Bachelor of Theology student on November 2.
The organization expressed sorrow and outrage over the incident. The body of late Noghuvi K. Sumi was discovered disposed of on the roadside in Northern Angami Colony, Walford Dimapur. The WSYF highlighted the senselessness of this violence, emphasizing that such disregard for human life is unacceptable.
"This loss is not just a tragedy for the family and friends of late Noghuvi, but for all who value life and seek safety in our community," stated the WSYF. "Brutal acts of violence cannot and must not go unpunished." The WSYF is called for law enforcement agencies to conduct a swift and thorough investigation to bring those responsible to justice.
The organization pledged its full cooperation, offering to mobilize resources and collaborate with authorities to provide any necessary information.
The WSYF also underscored the importance of restoring a sense of security among the youth and student community, asserting that education should be pursued without fear of violence. "This act of violence cannot go unanswered, and justice must be served," they insisted.
