Wokha, December 28 (MExN): Wokha Town Lakhuti Pongdenro Okho (WTLPO) held its 14th general session on December 27 at Pangti Baptist Ekhumkho Ki with Dr Zuben Kikon as the Speaker. A press release from Yanrenthung J Humtsoe, Media in charge, WTLPO stated that the programme commenced with an invocation from Kongkhen Patton and welcome address from WTLPO President, Sharon Kikon.
The speaker in his address spoke on the importance of knowledge, education and wisdom which are the keys every social being must possess emphasizing on the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow. He advised the youths to advocate participatory leadership providing a common platform and sharing common goals.
He further asserted that one should be physically, mentally, socially and spiritually alert and prepare themselves to achieve a successful career giving zero tolerance to negativity.
A special prayer of blessing was offered to the youths by Phancham Kikon Cultural Secretary, Wokha Town Lakhuti Eloe Ekhung. The programme also witnessed a special number from Hachithung Kikon.
Meanwhile, Wokha Town Lakhuti Ekhung Chairman John Ezung lauded the executives and all its members for their tireless effort in building the communication gap among its members and keeping the flame alive of the Union.
Short speeches were also delivered by Phancham Kikon Cultural Secretary, Wokha Town Lakhuti Eloe Ekhung and Nchubomo Ngullie.
