Tuensang, December 20 (MExN): The 51st Yimchungrü Akherü Arihako (YAA) general conference will be held from January 10 to 13, 2017 at Y/ Awunrü village, Tuensang District under the theme ‘Supra, Triven, Reformabit.’
R. Tohanba, Parliamentary Secretary, Municipal Affairs, Economics & Statistics and Pukhayi, Parliamentary Secretary, Soil & Water Conservation will grace the occasion as chief guest for the inaugural and valedictory session respectively.
Sapu Battacharyya, Managing Director, NEC Energy Pvt Ltd, John Tochimong, Officiating Secretary cum State Organizing Commissioner (S), Bharat Scouts & Guides, Nagaland, Chubanungla, SDEO Shamator and Berila Tokiu, President, Eastern Nagaland Women Organization (ENWO) will grace as guest of honor and special guest respectively.
Youth Net, Nagaland will be the resource person and also president, Eastern Naga Students Federation (ENSF) and president, Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC) will extort the gathering.
General Secretary L. Akhang has informed in a press release that the Conference will culminate for four days events featuring the 2nd Edition of Miss Yimchunger Beauty Pageant Contest, Cultural Session, Games and Sports and Literary cum felicitation Session with approx 3000 students/Delegates from the entire Yimchunger villages/Units.
The YAA extends invitation to all the officials of YTC, YWO, YBBA, YGOA, YGBU, WYH, PFPS, CAPF, STPF and HoDs of Shamator, Pungro and Chessore Sub- Division. Further all the federating units, VCM, VDB Secretaries and VEC are asked to attend the session without fail.
