DIMAPUR, JULY 10 (MExN): The Yimchungrü Akherü Arihako (YAA) has informed all teachers posted at various government schools within its jurisdiction who were absent without applying leave during YAA educational tour to report on July 17 and 19 at Shamator and Pungro respectively. This summon is directed to teachers who are currently undergoing professional courses and those engaged with ‘substitutes.’
A press release issued by YAA president S Yansomong Yimchunger and general secretary Achung Jangleh said this has been necessitated to authenticate those genuine teachers who are undergoing professional courses duly permitted by DoSE.
The said teachers have been asked to produce any of the official communication/order duly issued by the department/institution for validation. In the event of failure to produce/report on the aforementioned dates, those cases will be construed as ‘truant’ and that YAA shall not own responsibility in event of any eventuality that may arise due to willful dereliction of official duty as government servant, the press release stated.
Furthermore, the YAA has asked all teachers who have been selected by the department including those undergoing training in private/outside the state during the academic session of 2019-21 to submit a photocopy of the permission order in their respective institution without delay.
It reminded all concerned that YAA stands firm on its resolution; ‘no proxy teacher’ and ‘no work, no pay’ in the entire Yimchungrü’s jurisdiction henceforth. In this regard, all SMC’s and constituent units are asked to remain vigilant and to be proactive in their respective schools.
