Dimapur, July 22 (MExN): Nagaland’s Yanren Jamio will be participating in the Indian chapter of Rainforest Challenge which is scheduled to be held in Goa from July 22 to 30.
A member of the Association of Offroaders Nagaland (AON), Jamio will be navigating for Satish kumar, an avid offroad from Bangalore. The duo will be in the 1600cc petrol class, driving a gypsy modified to tackle the extreme terrain and weather conditions.
Touted as one of the world’s toughest 4×4 extreme off-road event, the Rainforest Challenge will push both man and machine to the limit as they navigate through the treacherous terrain and other tough obstacles. The stages are set in the jungles of Goa and with the demanding condition, both driver and navigator will have to be in sync and in top physical condition.
