Longleng, October 7 (MExN): Yaongyimchen Village Community Hall constructed under BRGF & GIA 2010-14 was formally inaugurated by CI Meren, Project Director, DRDA Longleng on October 7.
The Project Director appreciated Yaongyimchen VDB for taking up such an innovative and challenging project with the limited fund provided by the department which can be a useful for multi-purpose towards all round development of the village.
The inaugural programme was attended by Village Council Members of Yaongyimchen, Alayong, Sanglu, Yachem and Noksosang villages. It was chaired by Hampom Phom while Longkang, GB welcomed the official guests and members present.
Short speeches were delivered by A. Ashau Phom, BAPO (MGNREGA) RD Block, Longleng, Mokchet, Hd. Barick and Yongchet Phom. The programme concluded with special number by executive members of Yaongyimchen Students Union and a vote of thanks by S. Nungdang, VDB Secretary, Yaongyimchen.
