Dimapur , March 3 (MExN): With announcement of Dr Chumben Murry as the consensus candidate of the ruling People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) in Nagaland for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, the present Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Tokheho Yepthomi has extended his “warmest congratulations.”
“As he embarks to shoulder the responsibility, I pray that God will bless him,” Yepthomi stated in a press release.
He also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) President Chingwang Konyak for giving me the opportunity to contest the 2018 Lok Sabha Bye – Election and 2019 Lok Sabha election.
“I thank all Members of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly who supported my candidature for the two Lok Sabha elections,” he said. “Above all I thank the electorates of Nagaland and particularly those of Mon District who elected me for two terms to the Lok Sabha,” he added.
