Dimapur, January 27 (MExN): The Yimkhiung Gazetted Officers’ Association (YGOA) has condemned the shooting incident on the night of January 24 inside the premises of District Forest Officer, Zunheboto damaging the stationary vehicle of an officer who is a bonafide member of the Association. “This sheer act of violence is a clear intent to murder and is also aimed at undermining the unity, peace and security of the society. Such heinous and cowardly action has no place in the present day and should be outrightly condemned by all sections of society,” YGOA stated in a press note. “The Association expects that the perpetrators of the crime are apprehended and brought to justice as per the provisions of the law, and that every measure is taken to prevent the reoccurrence of such incidents,” it added.
