Yimkhiung’s first postgraduate Z Thsanso no more

Shamator, October 27 (MExN):  Z Thsanso Yimkhiung, a pioneer in the field of education and reportedly the first postgraduate among the Yimkhiung people, passed away on October 24. 

Among others, he was the teacher, Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS); President of YAA (Yimkhiung Students’ Conference); Secretary, Tuensang District Sports Council; APMC Secretary; Chairman Kholar Farmer Association; and Chairman, Large Cardomom, Tuensang district.      

In a condolence note, the  Yimkhiung Tribal Council  (YTC) mourned the demise of Thsanso and described him as a pioneer in the field of education among the community. 

Late Thsanso initiated and tried his best efforts to educate our people for self reliance and economic development through farming and plantations where it was feasible and according to the demands of the products and initiatives has benefited greatly to our people, the YTC noted. 

“We have lost a good man and visionary leader from our tribe which is a great loss for our people, his demise has created vacuum among our tribe which will be difficult to fill the person like him,” the council added in the condolence note issued by its president Throngso Yimkhiung and General Secretary, S Tsuyihba.

“The YTC conveys our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and dears ones and to the departed soul to rest in eternal peace,” it added.
