Longleng, September 26 (MExN): Students and faculty from Department of Sociology at Yingli College, Longleng conducted a one-day extension service at the Eastern Blind Care Home in Dungkhao village on September 25.
According to a DIPR report, the initiative aimed to enhance the quality of life and ensure the social integration of visually impaired individuals through compassionate service.
A total of 55 students from various semesters, along with teaching faculty, participated in the activities. The team contributed essential groceries and performed tasks including cleaning the surroundings and carrying out necessary repair work at the care home.
