
New Delhi, July 24 (MExN): Nagaland’s Minister for School Education, Yitachu along with Parliamentary Secretary for Higher & Technical Education, Deo Nukhu called on the Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Prakash Javadekar at the latter’s office at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.
Yitachu apprised the Union Minister on the implementation of Centrally Sponsorship Schemes in the state and other activities of the Department, and the problems faced by the state, according to a press release from Kuolie Mere, PRO, Nagaland House, New Delhi. He requested the Union Minister for timely release of Hindi Teachers salary. Further, he appealed that the SSA, RMSA, and related Central Sponsored Schemes must be continued in the state beyond 12th five year plan.
Meanwhile, Deo Nukhu requested the Union Minister for one engineering college and one human resource development training centre for college teachers in the State at the earliest possible.
The Union Minister, the release said, assured that the Central Government will give its full support and help in all the issues raised by the Minister and Parliamentary Secretary.
