YOCW training reaches Wokha

Wokha, June 27 (DIPR): The Government of Nagaland in partnership with Zynorique Initiative, YouthNet and Directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship organized an inaugural programme of the ‘Year of Construction Workers’ training for re-skilling/up skilling at Government ITI, Wokha on June 26.

Exhorting the trainees, SDO (C), Wokha, T. Lanusenla Longkumer hoped that the training would be the beginning of a new chapter in their lives and urged them to take the six days programme seriously. While appealing to them to learn from the training, she said that the government initiated the programme to tap human resources and local talents besides creating job opportunities and making the people self-reliant.  

Chairman, Zynorique Initiative & Architect, Richard Belho delivered the keynote address while the welcome address was proposed by Principal GITI, Wokha Er. Enchiba Longkumer. Assistant Director, Zubemo also delivered a short speech at the inaugural function chaired by Phyobemo Khuvung. Altogether, 50 people are participating in the re-skilling/up skilling training.
