‘Yoga’ camps at Dmr & Kma in February

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 15 (MExN): Patanjali Yog Samiti & Bharat Swabhiman (Trust), Dimapur branch announced the visit of celebrated Yoga proponent Baba Ramdevji to Nagaland on February 25. The trust is a non-religious organisation working in the field of ‘Yoga’, led by its ‘guru’ (leader) Parampoojiya Swamiji Maharaj Baba Ramdevji.
The announcement was made to the local media by the chief national coordinator of the trust, Rakesh Kumar, who is in Dimapur. The purpose of the visit is to hold ‘yoga’ camps in Dimapur and Kohima, while encouraging healthy living under the slogan: ‘Yoga for better living’. The ‘yogic’ is on a countrywide tour. His north-east itinerary begins February 7 till March.
Kumar informed that Baba Ramdev will arrive in Dimapur on February 24 via Golaghat. The next day a free ‘yoga’ camp will be organised at the DDSC Stadium. Thereafter on February 26 another similar camp is scheduled in Kohima at the Assam Rifles’ grounds.     
Welcoming all to attend the camps, Kumar said that 40 doctors will be accompanying the ‘yogic’, who will run an open out-patient-department at the venues. The camp in Dimapur will begin from 6:30 am till 7:30 pm in the evening. It was added that the rest of the districts of the state will be included in the programme next year.  
Kumar was accompanied by the trust’s central coordinator (NE), Shyam Shankar Roy.
