Youth Cong censures DAN govt. for false promises

KOHIMA, AUGUST 22 (MExN): In the interest of Tseminyu Sub-division, the Assembly Youth Congress 12th Tseminyu A/C has hit out at the present DAN government for over-looking and neglecting the sub-division during the last election. The Youth congress leader is of the opinion that ‘the DAN government made many promises to develop the infrastructure of Tseminyu but all the promises have vanished in thin air.’

Under CHC Tseminyu about 70 to 130 patients visit the centre everyday for treatment but it is in a very sorry state with only one Doctor (RCH) and the SMO Tseminyu comes only to sign the salary bill, it stated. “CHC status should have at least three Doctors and 20 to 30 beds but the present DAN have failed to provide it, and also there is no medicine supply for poor patient and public coming all the way from village”, S H Alo Semp, President, Assembly Youth Congress 12th Tseminyu A/C sated in a press statement.

The statement also reports that the Trauma centre building which was completed this year has already a roof leakage and is always wet and not fit for to be called a Hospital. It also pointed out that the Government High School Tseminyu had been upgraded to Higher Secondary but far there had no teaching staff or any other infrastructure. “Even LADF got lost last year which is meant for the public development”, the statement continued. The Youth Congress has also expressed great dissatisfaction to the present MLA for his failure to look into developmental issues in the Sub-division.

“Let us all choose the right candidate, senior person who can speak-out for the right of Rengmas, leaders like Nillo Rengma who always stands in times of trouble and speak-out the right for our Rengmas”, Alo added later.
