The District Administration of Wokha under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan organised a one-day agripreneurship workshop at Sanis Multipurpose Hall on May 17. This event was organised in collaboration with the ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre, and ICAR-KVK, Wokha.
L Samuel, SDO (C) of Sanis in his short speech expressed his gratitude to the resource persons from various departments for their participation. The speakers included Dr Aabon W Yanthan, Scientist (Horticulture Vegetable Science) and In-charge of the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Centre, Nagaland, Moakum Pongen, CTO, ICAR-KVK, Wokha, Anuranjan Singh, Project Manager at Shishoi Oshom-ETF Cell, Wokha, Achio Kikon, District Manager, CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd Wokha, and a representative from the Medical Department.
The workshop provided guidance on agripreneurship schemes and opportunities available for youth, emphasizing the importance of a drug-free, healthier, and happier society in Wokha District. A total of 55 young participants from the Sanis area participated at the workshop.
