The first road fatality to be reported in Dimapur since the lockdown started, one person was killed in a road accident in Dimapur on May 18. The accident happened at the Airport junction in 3rd Mile at around 2:00 pm. According to the police, the motor-cycle hit a lamp post at high speed causing head injury to the lone rider. He succumbed to the injury in hospital. He was identified as Nguvito Kiba (27 years).
