Youth urged to look beyond comfort zone

Kohima, October 28 (MExN): The Thenyizumi Union Kohima (TUK) organized annual day-cum-picnic at the IG Stadium, Kohima with Chakhesang Hoho Kohima President, Theja Therieh as the special guest on October 28.  

A press release received here stated that Therieh in his address urged upon the gathering to contribute to the society for a change stating that every one of us can contribute something that can make a difference. “Youth have the capacity but we look at our comfort zone,” said Therieh noting on the numbers of unemployed increasing every year in Nagaland and call on the youth to struggle and work hard in order to achieve success.  

He emphasized that education should be based on all-round development in order to help the students who graduate every year where they will be able to venture something for a livelihood. “Quality education can help us stand on our own feet and we can contribute something to the society. If you are all round developed, you won’t be unemployed noted Therieh.  

Supporting the Clean Election, he said, “we should support the campaign and maintained that can only happen only when the individual can contribute to it, a lot of people are complaining about it but if we start, the small little achievement is an achievement and will be successful in the long run. We cannot expect big things at once, let us put more effort.”  

N. Theyo, chairman of Nagaland Peace Centre, Kohima in his short speech said such gathering would helped the people to get to know each other more and he also lauded Venuzo Dawhuo for bringing laurel to Thenyizu village and said he is the light and pride of the village.  

During the programme, new officials were also elected with Thepuphi Kapuh as the Chairman and Chosevoyi Dawhuo as Vice Chairman for tenure 2017- '19.
