YouthNet career workshop at Pilgrim School

Dimapur, February 4 (MExN): A one-day workshop with students of class 8, 9 and 10 at Pilgrim School, Dimapur was held with Lezo Putsure, Strategist at YouthNet as the resource person. A press release stated that the School headmistress Kaini K Kikon acknowledged the need for continuous career guidance workshop that allows students to think and plan for their future. The workshop was fully activity based where students did self-assessment markings, skill ratings for the careers they wished to choose, self-analysis and looking at diverse careers from medicine, entrepreneurship, civil service, law, photography and more. The students of the school also shared EQ skills such as confidence, body language and clear communication with mock demonstration. The resource person mentioned that to be successful, the first thing is to fall in love with what one does. “There is nothing called a best job in the word, when you follow your passion, pray and work hard, that is where success lies,” he shared.
