YouthNet launches 3rd edition of LaunchPad

DIMAPUR, JUNE 15 (MExN): Advisor of Youth Resources & Sports, S Keoshu Yimkhiung on Thursday officially launched the 3rd edition of LaunchPad, a career guidance and employment skills development program, for the academic year 2023-24 at TM Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima.

A press release received from media cell, YouthNet stated that Advisor Keoshu, during his speech emphasized on the importance of incorporating attractive teaching learning method into all schools. He commended the efforts of all stakeholders involved in introducing innovative programs aimed at improving the education system in Nagaland. 

As a testament to recognize academic excellence, the LaunchPad Scholarship Awards for the academic year 2022 were presented to five outstanding students namely Grace Lerina, GHSS Dimapur; Vetazo Veswuh GHSS, Chozuba, Phek; Latsuba, GHSS Pungro, Kiphire; Naophe GHSS Tizit, Mon and Toviho Aye, GHSS, Zunheboto.

In addition, Secretary of Youth Resources & Sports, Anthony Ngully, presented the Tetso College LaunchPad Scholarship Award to Watisangla of Mayangnokcha GHSS Mokokchung recognizing her exceptional achievements.

YouthNet Director, Nuneseno Chase in her speech, acknowledged the Department of Youth Resources & Sports and provided an overview of LaunchPad, shedding light on the programs goals and objectives. Kethosituo Sekhose, Director of the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, delivered a short speech highlighting its significance in empowering students with essential career guidance and building their employability skills.
