YouthNet has opened its fourth office in the State at Dimapur located at 4th Mile near NER Agri Expo site. The other three offices are located in Kohima.
Addressing a gathering at the office inauguration programme on Monday, Advisor for School Education, K.T. Sukhalu IAS (Retd) emphasized on the need for a strong and dedicated manpower force which would be indispensable to run any industry whether big or small.
Sukahlu said entrepreneurs in the State were most unlikely to start any business with a small amount while in other parts of the country it was the opposite. In this connection, he stressed on the need to have humble starting points and climb the ladder of success gradually.
YouthNet office will facilitate job placements, career counselling and soft skill trainings. Directing his speech towards the trainees present, Sukhalu advised them to be patient, tolerant and focused. Dedicatory prayer for the office was said by Pastor, Toluvi Baptist Church, Atoshe Awomi.
