Youths to ‘Crossover’ towards Radical Change

Good new! Young church leaders from various churches in Kohima will come under one platform to spread the message of Christ through “Crossover”- a youth convergence scheduled for July 15-17 here at the State Academy Hall. This group of inspiring church leaders took the initiative to organize this 3 days long event under the theme “Towards Radical Change” with the belief to be a great platform for the youths to seek God in one accord.

Talking to this correspondent, Faith Harvest Church (FHC) youth director Aphre Angami said they felt the responsibility of the youth and to begin with they had a discussion with the leaders of various churches and initiated this event with the name Crossover. “As we move from one destination to the other, likewise, the Crossover intends to take over the youth to spiritual life, from Darkness to light, vibrant and active with God”, said Aphre, who is also coordinator of the event.

“This will be a time of great revival and restoration and we believe that this event will be the beginning of the explosive work that the lord intents to do among the young people”, said Nochetla Tzudir, Secretary of the event. Nochetla also fervently appealed the citizens of Kohima to be a part of the programme which will have impact among the youth and request for prayer support throughout to make the event a grand success.

The organizers said they have already got positive response from more than 50 churches in Kohima, which they said “is very encouraging and exciting.” Adding to that, Donations form well-wishers, friends, individuals are also pouring in for the much awaited show. They have also informed that three city buses have been arranged for those coming from far areas.

It may be mentioned that many young Naga Artist featuring Alo Wanth, Sunep Lemtur, Kenei, Toshinaro, Tali Angh, are set to carry the message of God through songs during the three days long event.

Rev. Shan Kikon, Faith Harvest Church and Rev Kilang Jamir, from Faith Harvest Ministry responded to be the main speaker for the event.

The youths will also experience the melodious instrumental piece of Imlitemjen “New Age Music” musician, Musical Skit, Dance fusion, and Acappella of Chakhesang Baptist Church, Kohima. The Praise and worship team, comprise a bunch of youth known as In-House Band from various churches will delight the crowd.

On July 15 the programme will begin at 4.00 PM with a prelude by the In-House Band, welcome note by Aphre Angami, Sunep Lemtur and Kenei will captivate with a special number followed by message and Ministry by Rev. Shan Kikon.

Aprhe Angami, Cordiantor, Ayim Longchar, Asst Cordinator, Nochetla Tzudir Secretary, Jonathan Mesen, Publicity, Magdalene Ezung, Prayer Secretary, Khyo Ngully Worship Coordinator, Akhrou Koza, Worship Coordinator and Ketimenla, in response to His stirring, took the initiative to organize the three days bonanza programme.
