Youths urged to courageously hone skill-based employment

The Advisor of Horticulture, Manthung Yanthan today challenged youths to courageously hone skill-based employment and venture into the outside world. He has sponsored youths of 39 Sanis Constituency, Wokha with all miscellaneous needs to undertake free skill development training at Emporium Skill Training Institute, Dimapur. 

He was speaking during a registration programme here in Dimapur. He underscored that Nagaland state has surplus rate of government employees and iterated that unemployment and job crisis cannot be solved by creating more government job. 

Expressing satisfaction for Emporium Skill Training Institute for the impressive rate of placements in the past, the advisor added that he was fully convinced to also initiate and contribute for the unemployed youths through such avenue. He further encouraged the youths to give much to learning and benefitting from the experience.

The minister has sponsored for more than 30 youths under the constituency to impart the training. 

Operations Manager Anirban Mukherjee while giving an introduction of the Emporium informed that the free skilled training is funded by the State Labour & Employment department, Government of Nagaland and imparts training in aviation and hospitality line. Emporium branch was earlier opened in Dimapur last June. 

Earlier, the first quarter training for 220 trainees successfully completed with excellent placements in Dimapur. In the second leg of the quarter, the youths under 39 Sanis A/c are the 5th batch.  The programme was chaired by Temjenkala Aier.
