Tuensang, January 31: The new team of Yimchungru Students’ Union (YSU), 3rd NAP sector, Tuensang has taken over the charge of the office from outgoing office bearers during a meeting held on January 28 at Union banker. YSU assistant general secretary Luntsuba in a press release stated that the meeting was formally organize by the newly elected team as a sort of farewell cum handing taking programme in presence of both the official.
Speaking on the occasion on behalf of outgoing office bearers former President John Kips said, “Being a student leader is a big responsible. Like a backbone of the student’s life, the one who sacrifice to lead forward and to reach destination for the greater interest of students.” He also expressed confident with newly elected member in all education sector through the initiatives render by them it would be success and he also assert that he would extend support with Union whenever they need a service. He further encouraged the new team to work more sincerely in every step with a prayer. Lakiumong and Shahoto, president and general secretary respectively for the tenure 2014-16, will head the Yinchungru Students Union (YSU) 3rd NAP sector Tuensang.
