Dimapur, August 7 (MExN): The Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) has extended greetings to each and every citizens of the Yimchungrü Community staying across the State on the auspicious occasion Medümnio festival.
“The most significant and traditional aspect of the festival is to maintain peace and reconciliation with the people living near and far,” YTC said in press note issued by its General Secretary L Chuba.
“The YTC hope that through this festival, the people of Yimchungrü community would not only see a new dawn of peace, tranquility and friendship amongst themselves but also more in their relationships and transactions with the members of other Naga Communities,” it added.
