Shamator, February 9 (MExN): The Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC) in its emergency meeting held at Shamator HQ on February 9 has denounced the three YTC officials led by its President for attending the consultative called by the Chief Minister on February 8. A press release from YTC Vice President H. Tsurito and General Secretary L. Chuba informed that YTC Officials deliberated and investigated the matter thoroughly and concluded that the trio was not officially assigned to attend the meeting. As such their attendance is unofficial and devoid of YTC’s knowledge, the release stated. The release mentioned a February 6 meeting where a decision was unanimously taken to extend full support to the Naga tribal Hohos with regard to the present crisis.
