Dimapur, May 19 (MExN): The Yung Aung-led NSCN (K) strongly condemned the “brutal assassination” of Captain Chusimu by armed assailants on the night of May 18 at Motawfam village under Layshi Township (Myanmar).
“At the time of the incident he and two others were unarmed. He was shot dead at point blank and one was injured in the leg,” a press release from the MIP said on may 19.
The Yung Aung-led NSCN (K) said that it will leave no stone unturned in finding the culprits behind the act.
Chusimu was a dedicated soldier, a loving husband and a father of two children. “He will be fondly remembered by the Naga nation for his selfless service,” the statement read.
It also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family.
