YWCA Dimapur joins fight against trafficking

Children of Neighbourhood Gospel Church, Dimapur during the observance of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons held on July 30. (YWCA Dimapur) 
 

Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): Young Women Christian Association (YWCA), Dimapur observed World Day Against Trafficking in Persons under the theme ‘Stronger Together’ with the children of Neighbourhood Gospel Church, Dimapur on July 30.  

 


YWCA Dimapur in a press release said that resource person, NK Keny speaking on human trafficking and child trafficking urged the children to be aware of the people they deal with. Amongla, YWCA member shared from the life story of Joseph who was sold out by his own brothers at the very young age but later on became the ruler of Egypt because he fear God, she encouraged the children to fear God.

 


Invocation was said by Rev Alem Jamir, Pastor Neighbourhood Gospel Church, welcome speech and introduction was done by Watisenla Jamir, President, YWCA Dimapur. At the end of the programme children were served lunch.
