Dimapur, May 10 (MExN): Z RoyimYimkhuing will remain as the president of the NNC-Parent Body while S Kiviho Zhimomi, former Vice President, has been elevated to President United Naga People’s Government Naga National Council (UNPG/NNC)
Likewise, Toshi Walling will retain the status as co-convener NNPG's and Ato Kilonser UNPG-NNC.
According to a press release from the UNPG-NNC-PB, a resolution regarding the same was adopted during the emergency meeting of its Council of Kilonsers held on May 10 to ‘contemplate’ on its internal issues.
The meeting was held in compliance to the directive and subsequent resolution of the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs) on May 9, it said.
Meanwhile, the Council further resolved that when the entire Naga people are yearning for common aspiration at the earliest, any “disintegration or conspiracy within the group” will not be tolerated and “deal with stern befitting action.”
To this end, it appealed all the functionaries of the UNPG-NNC-PB Body to remain steadfast and pro-active in discharging national duties, the release added. As per the release, the May 10 meeting of Council of Kilonsers was attended by the groups 22 top functionaries.
