The 7th Zasinihu Memorial Trophy cum 1st WASU Women's Volleyball Tournament will be held from October 31 to November 2 at Jotsoma Local Ground & Kohima Science College, Jotsoma.
The tournament will be hosted by Jotsoma Students' Union.
Akunu S Meyase, Secretary to the Government of Nagaland (Personal and Administrative Reforms) will grace the occasion as special guest while Tiayanger Jamir SDO (Civil), Sechü-Zubza will be the guest of honour.
22 football teams had registered for the tournament while 7 teams (Women's) will compete for the volleyball tournament.
In the football category, the champion will fetch a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 while 1st runners-up will receive Rs 25, 000. Losing semi-finalists will receive Rs 10,000 each.
In women's volleyball, the champion will be awarded with 15,000 while 1st runners-up will receive 10,000. The trophy is organised in honor and memory of Zasinihu, first president of Naga Students' Federation (NSF).
