Zasivi Peseyie FC today lifted the coveted champion title of 7th Zasinihu Memorial Trophy 2023.

In final match played at Local ground, Jotsoma, Zasivi Peseyie FC defeated Jotsoma Students’ Union 4-0 to lift the trophy.

Zasivi Peseyie FC fetched a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 along with citation and running trophy while runner- up Jotsoma Students’ Union received Rs. 25,000.

Losing semi-finalists Adroit Boys and Group-C, Jotsoma also pocketed Rs 10,000 each.

The Tournament was organized by Western Angami Students’ Union and hosted by Jotsoma Students’ Union
The trophy is organised in honor and memory of Zasinihu, first president of Naga Students’ Federation (NSF).

Best custodian (Golden Glove): Vingusa Rino (Jotsoma Students’ Union)
Highest Scorer (Golden Boot):  Kikrusakho Rino(Jotsoma Students’ Union) with 6 goals.
Player of the Tournament (Golden Ball): Kevisanyü Peseyie (Zasivi Peseyie FC)

Khonoma SU wins volleyball champ
In women Volleyball Category, Khonoma Students’ Union (KSU) downed Mezoma Students’ Union (MSU) by 3-2 in the set round- best of five. Neirietouno Julia Miasalhou of Mezoma Students’ Union was adjudged as player of the tournament.

Tiayanger Jamir SDO (Civil), Sechü (Zubza) graced the grand finale as the special guest. Mentionably, 22 Men football teams and 7 Women Volleyball teams joined the tournament which started on 0ctober 31.
