Newmai News Network Imphal | May 5 The Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur (LNC-M) has charged Athuan Abonmai, President of Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) of attempting to create confusion. “Once for all, LNC-M would like to clarify that Liangmai people have nothing to do in their decision or activities,” the LNC-M stated in press release. Asserting that it was the apex body of the Liangmai tribe in Manipur, the LNC-M maintained that it had never endorsed or recommended Abonmai to represent Liangmai people in any organization. As such, the LNC-M stated that the utterances of the ZB (AMN) President is nothing “but his individual opinion and has no relevance in the Liangmai tribe.”
