DIMAPUR, February 7 (MExN): Zeliangrong Baudi (ZB) has condoled the demise of Pou Ijirangbe Zeme, eminent leader of Zeliangrong Nagas. A condolence message from Gainithoi Gonmei, Information & Publicity Secretary, ZB (AMN), informed that Zeme passed away on February 4 at Guwahati Hospital after a brief illness. Further, it informed that Zeme was P.A. to Rani Gaidinliu - the veteran freedom fighter, Executive Member of N.C. Hills Autonomous Council in 1980s, General Secretary of All Zeliangrong Students’ Union (1965-67), Zeliangrong People Convention (ZPC) leader in 1980s, and social worker in Assam till his last breath. Born on April 25, 1944, he is survived by wife Jeno Zeme, and children. In his death, the Zeliangrong people and the ZB have lost one illustrious leader, the message stated.
