Dimapur: Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland (ZBN) has informed the general populace of Peren district to be vigilant in matters relating to selling/dealing of land/areas by any individual without the prior information and consent of the land owner and Baudi (Hoho). A press release issued by ZBN president Rangsam N Hau and secretary information & publicity Namrachang Hegui stated that Zeliangrong Baudi in its meeting premeditated on the subjects of land trade wherein, “every represented villages has agreed in Toto to restrain from vending land in the district to outsider.”
Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland taking serious note of the matter has notified to all village authority concerned to strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulation framed by the Committee on Land & Resources and further reiterated its stand to totally ban selling of land/area to others without the consent of land owner and the Committee. Baudi team will kick off its itinerary tour in the district to see that every village concerned is protecting and preserving their land and resources in their respective areas, the note added.
Further, it cautioned that any individual/group trying to buy land/area under Peren district shall be doing so at their own risk and “Zeliangrong Baudi shall in no way entertain and tackle the issue if found in the course of verification during its touring program.”
