ZDLSA & WDLSA carry out activities

Wokha/Zunheboto, November 25 (MExN): Wokha District Legal Services Authority (WDLSA) visited Observation Home at Zuvotong colony in Wokha Town on November 23.  

The team comprised of Seyielenuo Mezhu, CJM and Secretary WDLSA; Gracy Ezung, Retainer Lawyer WDLSA; Meribemo Lotha, Panel Lawyer WDLSA; Renbonthung Tsanglao, Panel Lawyer WDLSA; and Renbemo Tungoe, APP Wokha.  

During an interaction with the staffs and Superintendent of the Observation Home, Wobenthung Patton, the WDLSA members had a wide consultation on various works and functions of the home. The Secretary also interacted and consulted with the guardians and juvenile who was in conflict with law and placed at the home for the past three months, according to a press release.  

Meanwhile, Zunheboto District Legal Services Authority (ZDLSA) in collaboration with District Aids Protection and Control Unit Zunheboto organized district level consultative meeting on stigma and discrimination, CABA uptake of social and legal protection benefits for PLHIV, CABA and MARPS at NZP+ conference hall on November 23.  

Representatives from district administration, legal services authority, District Education, Observation Home Zunheboto, STH, social welfare department along with DAPCU and CABA attended the meeting.  

Wariden, EAC and Medical Officer Dr. Wapang delivered short speeches, while resource person Tovi Z Yeptho, Retainer Lawyer ZDLSA spoke on the topic.
