The Zest Taekwondo Academy (ZesTA) has conducted its colour belt promotion ceremony on May 20 in Kohima. ZesTA is affiliated to Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) and located at Tigers Club Building, New Market, Kohima
The belt binding ceremony was graced and conducted by Thejasetuo Keretsü (Black Belt 6th DAN and International Taekwondo Referee) and Sunil Rai (Black Belt 3rd DAN and Senior Taekwondo Instructor).

Altogether, 24 students were given colour belt promotion in different grades.

The visiting faculty also gave away prizes to the students for various categories.

Shokentsinlo Semp, Thejaneituo  Kuotsu and Japisa Bio were adjudged the best group in the Poomsae category and Anmol was adjudged the Best Student Award.

On the occasion, the student displayed various taekwondo skills and sparing techniques.

The event was conducted by Neitho-o Kuotsu (Black Belt 1st DAN and Managing Director, ZesTA). Earlier, the colour belt promotion test was conducted by Moon Thapa (Black Belt 5th DAN and International Taekwondo Referee) and Niky Khezhie (Black Belt 3rd DAN) under the rules and regulation of NTA and guided by World Taekwondo (Kukkiwon) at the same venue on May 1 last.

Formed during January 2022, Zest Taekwondo Academy has become one of the best Taekwondo Academy in the state capital Kohima with all necessary Taekwondo equipments and gears including the installation of World Taekwondo certified taekwondo Mat; biometric attendance and CCTV for monitoring the safety and activity of young children.

The Academy also boast to have its instructor Albert Lotha (Black Belt3nd DAN) who was adjudged the Best Instructor by NTA during 2022.
