SMC members with resource person after the meeting at Zhadima
Kohima, November 12 (MExN): School Management Committee (SMC) of Zhadima village held a consultative meeting on Thursday at the village community hall.
Resource person of the meeting, Kevizeno Savino, Deputy director and former SDEO Chiephobozou, Directorate of school education said the responsibility of the communities was very important for the betterment and development of schools in the villages.
She added that the progress of a school also depended alot on the contribution and attention given by a teacher.
Highlighting the need to adapt to the changing society, Savino said concerned communities should be innovative and be proactive in implementing new ideas and plans instead of being complacent with the traditional systems.
She also observed that women society, student's body and youth organization of a village could also play a significant role in the development and betterment of schools in the villages.
Zhadima village council chairman Neilalhoulie Soliezuo, council secretary Seyiekhrielhou Kuotsu, head GB Kedilezo M Keditsu and youth president Vizosielie Khoubve delivered short speech.
Earlier the meeting was led by SMC Zhadima chairman, Zakienei Khoubve.
