Dimapur, March 29 (MExN): Newly elected Deputy Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA), Zhaleo Rio has urged for positive action and constructive encouragement from all corners in order to bring about change in the state. Zhaleo, who was elected to the NLA from Ghaspani-II, visited the party office in Medziphema on March 28 and addressed party leaders during which he briefed them about the different stages in the formation of government and how he finally landed on the chair of the Dy. Speaker in the PDA government.
Zhaleo pledged to give his utmost for the constituency and the Nagas in general and further requested people for their prayers and support in the coming days.
Viewing that many Nagas have become prisoners of negative criticism, the Dy. Speaker urged people to leave aside all differences and build "our Naganess" – which, he maintained, can be possible only through unity, constructive criticism and consideration of characteristic aspects that forge people together in the society.
