DIMAPUR, APRIL 26 (MExN): Assam Rifles Battalion of IGAR (North) provided furniture, electrical goods and other items required for renovation of the primary school, Zhuikhe under Chumukedima district on Wednesday.
A press release issued by PRO (Defence) Kohima & Imphal informed that in an effort to promote quality education and provide a helping hand in modernization of the school infrastructure, the Assam Rifles made available the much needed basic equipment to uplift the standard of the school.
Village council chairman, GB, principal of the school and other council members attended the event & appreciated the efforts of the security forces, the press release stated.
