Zunheboto, October 14 (MExN): The Zunheboto Inter-Collegiate Evangelical Union (ZICEU) recently held a Discipleship Training Camp at Natha New Baptist Church from October 10 to 12. Centered on the theme “You Are Chosen” based on John 15:16, the camp brought together 63 participants from seven local institutions, including Kheloshe Polytechnic Asukhuto, Zunheboto Government College, Bloomfield School, Cornerstone School, Immanuel School, Olympic School, and Government Higher Secondary School Zunheboto.

ZICEU President Livito Zhimo and Secretary Avika V Tissica expressed their satisfaction with the turnout and praised the active engagement of participants. The camp featured sessions led by speakers, including Dr Tokugha Rochill and Newtoli Yeptho, both Senior Advisors for the Evangelical Fellowship of India (EGF). Yeptho addressed the challenges and influences posed by the digital world, while Dr Rochill explored the camp’s theme in depth, encouraging participants to reflect on their spiritual journeys.

Additional activities included a Bible study session led by Toli Chophy, UESI Staff Worker in Zunheboto, and a discussion on the UESI Handbook, presented by Dr Vinoto Aye, EGF President, Tolibo Awomi, EGF Treasurer, and Ghukatoli Sumi from Immanuel Higher Secondary School. The handbook discussions emphasized the importance of scriptural guidance in daily life.

Practical discussions and doctrinal sessions enriched the camp experience. Everkali W Achumi, Newtoli Yeptho, and Dr Vinolika Zhimomi facilitated practical discussions, while doctrinal sessions were conducted by Ghunato Assumi, Associate Pastor of SBCZ, Vilibo Yeptho, Assistant Professor at NTC, and Hilotoli Aye, Associate Pastor at South Point West Colony. Quiet time sessions, led by Tunavi Assumi and Kitheli Jakha, EGF Prayer Secretary, offered campers moments for reflection and personal meditation.
