Zisaji Presidency College 20th fresher day held

Apipa, winner of Zisaji Presidency College (ZPC) Academic Excellency award of Zisaji Presidency College, who wishes to become international preacher and Yongpila who aspires to be a journalist were declared ZPC Mr and Miss fresher’s 2016. The 20th fresher’s day was celebrated at college auditorium with Major Krishna CO 46 AR, Kiphire post as chief guest on July 16.  

Encouraging the students, Major Krishna asked the student to have quest for knowledge in order to achieve and attain higher height in life and contribute to the society and community. While advising the students, the Major said that if one is not humble, they will never achieve in life and he asked them to be humble, sincere and dedicated so that the dreams and aspiration comes true.  

He also advised the students to stay away from drugs and other harmful activities which are not good for healthy society and to discipline one and abstain from all unwanted things.  

Further, sharing his thoughts, Major Krishna also said, “When you develop positive attitude in life, you are sure that you will be able to do something in life, but we should also know where you are going.”  

Dr Moanocher, Principal ZPC while encouraging the students said that “knowledge is truth, morality and application” and asked the students to fear God if one has to be successful in life. The Principal said that “without hard work one will not be successful in life and failure is not the fatal end but to take face that failure positively is the way out as student.”  

Song, choreography and dance were the other highlights of the programme.
