ZO Skin Health Inc. Cosmoceutical range of products was launched today here at Clinical Spa, Family Health Clinic, by Mukesh Mehta, business head, ZO Cosmoceuticals and Aesthetics.
Delivering an overview of the product range, Mehta said that ZO products are developed on the foundation established by American Dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi which incorporates the latest advancements in skincare technology for treating skin damage. Zo medical solutions include new protocols, prescription pharmaceuticals and enhancing products that treat a wide range of medical skin conditions.
At ZO Skin Health, INC, therapeutic products and protocols are optimized to treat a wide range of skin disorders and chronic conditions including pigmentation, sebum (oily skin), sun damage, pilosebaceous unit disorders and other inflammatory disorders.
Dr. Obagi is also credited with the establishment of Skin Health - a concept that was unknown in the 80's - which enables physicians to achieve better results.
He said Zo products can only be prescribed by a doctor for which consultation is essential before undergoing treatment to assess the requirements according to which, the right product for treatment of the condition can be prescribed.
Mehta also said treatments range from cleansing and exfoliation (Oscar winning product) to sunscreen and pigmentation control and the treatments begins with a Getting Skin Ready (GSR) kit. Assuring quality and safety of the product range, he said ZO Cosmoceutical products are approved by the US FDA, which ensures high safety standards. He also elaborated that the brand's products are well tested on Indian and Asian skin types for best results, before being introduced in the market. Further, Mehta said the range of products is not only for treating skin damage problems but also for daily skin care as daily skin care is important for people of all age groups and not only for people with skin problems.
Clinical Spa, Family Health Clinic, is the first centre in the entire North East Region where ZO Cosmoceutical products are available under the supervision of Dr. Kahuka Sema, who underwent special training to become a certified ZO Skin Health consultant.
