KOHIMA, OCTOBER 10 (MExN): The Annual General Session of the Zeliang Officers Association Nagaland (ZOAN) was held at State Academy Hall, Kohima, on October 9. Vice-President Kawizun Zeliang presided over the session, while ZOAN President Keyirangding Hegui delivered the welcome address and introduced new members.
The house reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting and adopted key measures aimed at strengthening the association and enhancing the welfare of its members. Rev N. Silubo Zeliang, Pastor of Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church, offered an invocation for the association.
Discussions during the session included the annual action plan, issuance of identity cards, institutionalisation of the ZOAN HSLC Meritorious Award for Zeliang students, and the establishment of a ZOAN unit in Peren district. Concluding remarks were delivered by General Secretary Peihau Nsarangbe.
