Zunheboto, July 17 (MExN): Zunheboto Sϋmi Totimi Hoho (ZSTH) led by the President Boholi H. Awomi visited Zunheboto District Hospital on July 16. The ZSTH in a press release stated that during the visit, only four doctors were found to be on duty.
“On several occasions, Sumi apex organizations have appealed to the Government of Nagaland to upgrade the hospital; however, in spite of several assurances very less has been done,” the ZSTH mentioned while lamenting the attitude of the Government towards the development of the health care in the district. Therefore, ZSTH appealed to the Government to see that required man power, infrastructure and equipments are granted to Zunheboto District Hospital.
ZSTH also visited the Chief Medical Officer’s Office and found that till 11:00 am, no staff turned up. ZSTH has urgeed the staff of Zunheboto District Hospital and CMO Office to be regular and punctual and give proper services to the public.
