Dimapur, February 4 (MExN): The Zeliang Students’ Union Dimapur (ZSUD) inducted its new office bearers for the 2026–2028 tenure during an induction programme held at the Zeliang Community Welfare Society Building, Dimapur, on February 3.
The programme was chaired by Ngaulubui Namdau, Cultural Secretary, ZSUD. Invocation was pronounced by Lungdangaule, General Secretary, ZSUD, while the welcome address was delivered by Kewitingwang Newmai, Vice President, ZSUD. The General Secretary’s report was also presented during the programme.
The Election Committee, comprising Tesiding Newmai, Speaker, Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU); Zaisi Ramlia, President, Zeliang Women Organisation Dimapur (ZWOD); and Junang Chawang, General Secretary, Zeliang People Organisation Dimapur (ZPOD), officially declared the newly elected office bearers.
The new team includes: President – Kewitingwang Newmai; Vice President – Ngaulubui Namdau; General Secretary – Loiyingle Zeliang; Finance Secretary – Lungdangaule; Social and Cultural Secretary – Reku Reunim; Assistant General Secretary – Irangsing Mbung; and Games and Sports Secretary – Mesenthui.
The programme was followed by a blessing hour. Addresses were delivered by the outgoing President and the newly elected President. The programme concluded with vote of thanks and benediction.
