DIMAPUR, MAY 5 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Students' Union Nagaland (ZSUN) has condemned the “recurrent irresponsible attitude by the State Government” after the Tuensang incident is “an insult to people of Peren district in particular and to the Nagas in general.”
A press release from the ZSUN appealed to the Chief Minister and the Nagaland Governor to take immediate disciplinary action against the officers responsible for the June 3 incident wherein a COVID-19 positive person was transported to Peren “mistakenly” along with other returnees.
“The violation of SOP and the error of judgment admitted by the District Surveillance Team Dimapur are unjustifiable and cannot be compromised against the innocent human lives,” said the ZSUN.
